Councillor Bryan Flannagan was born in Stirling and before being elected, served in the Royal Navy as a submarine officer.  He was first elected in 2017 to represent the Stirling East ward where he and his young family live and, since then, has been a strong advocate of: reversing the cuts and charges to waste collection, tackling anti-social behaviour as well as ensuring a bold strategy to develop Stirling for the future. 

As well as being Stirling East's Councillor, he is the Chair of the Public Safety committee.
