Douglas Dodds is the Provost of Stirling Council, and a Councillor for Dunblane and Bridge of Allan ward.
Douglas lives in Bridge of Allan and for the past 5 years has passionately served the local people as their Councillor.
He has a great deal of experience serving the community. He is a former Chairman and Member of the Bridge of Allan community council before being elected to Stirling Council in 2017.
As a Councillor Douglas prides himself on being a man who can get the job done. He takes local issues and makes them his priority as he works at Stirling Council.
As an example, alongside local residents he formed an anti-dog fouling squad to tackle the ongoing problem of Bridge of Allan pavements being littered with dogs mess. As a proud dog owner himself Douglas wants to keep the town clean.
Bridge of Allan prides itself on being a great place to live, and a great place to visit. However the town needs an active local councillor to keep it that way. Douglas is your man, he can be regularly seen in the neighbourhood and is always approachable and contactable.
